As per Malcolm's style...

This is a sketch that I executed after reflecting upon the works of Malcolm De Chazal. The local scenery chosen for this work is the Telfair Garden of Souillac (south of Mauritius) where land meets with the sea. A beautiful place to be during sunset where the mind becomes full of wonder.. There are some mysterious stories about a secret cemetery of the colonial times and many believed this place to be a gateway to Heaven.. I think that this kind of scenery would have particularly fit in the works of the poet and the painter Chazal, whereby to capture an intent moment so full of colours and a ghostly figure ( historically:the french colonisation of Mauritius), the urgency of the execution of the strokes was all that mattered..
