More of Oil Pastels..

As source of inspiration, I used the local sceneries (mountains and the sea during sunset) and elaborated from there. I also wanted to connect myself with past practice where I used to work with shadows to create images which departs from existing forms to imaginative ones, as seen in this first drawing.

Midnight Walk...

Continuation...

The Square Plays.

I wanted to ponder on the square shape and its breakdown in a creative and playful  manner as the construction of a puzzle...

Oil Pastels- Impression and Expression...

Experiment with oil pastels...

Reflection:
Simple enjoyable experiment that was carried out in a short lapse of time. I definitely have to elaborate on this style and technique..

The Flowering Cactus..

This work does not appeal to me that much as I am finding myself to be repetitive in many ways. I seriously need to review from these kinds of drawings now as I am not being able to connect myself to it....

Trials inspired from Marker Installations.

Marker Installations from the artist Heike Weber ...

I wanted to try out an exercise in this style and here is the outcome:

Trial 1.
 Trial 2.
     Trial 3.

Trial 4. Here tried with ball pen and found out that sometimes the leaking marks makes the whole thing looks untidy...

Trial 5. As the space between the lines are smaller, there is more illusion of depth...

Trial 6. Trial using swirls, I like the effect..

This last experiment is much in line with the effect that I was seeking for. I can literally visualise what the "marker artist" had in mind at the time of the making/marking. Before engaging in this exercise, I thought that this exercise really looked simple/easy and not concerned with much calculations and of course I was wrong. This exercise demanded dexterity, neatness and patience. I also feel that one need to exercise a lot to obtain the right result...
  Trial 7.
